Beergod appeared (not surprisingly) over a few beers. A group of friends reflecting on life, love, beer, worship & religion realised that there was a higher purpose to beer and that beer is the reason for every aspect of life as we know it. Work, sport, relationships, relaxation, celebration, commiseration, success, failure, birth, death, public holidays, friends, BBQ’s – everything – the way it is, the way it was - can all in some way be related to beer. Leading to the profound discovery ...

... Beer is god.

Once this revelation occurred, if beer is god - then the links between beer and every aspect of the universe and life become apparent (when you look closely). Beergod awoke as a reminder of the joy that beer has bought to so many. Now its possible to achieve enlightenment and appreciate that worship of beer should be celebrated and enjoyed by all.

Ancient Tradition

It was the cultivation of crops that caused modern man to trade a nomadic style existence to one of ancient towns and cities. We know that the art of brewing is a tradition that can be traced back to early civilisation in Mesopotamia and ancient China. Most importantly - agriculture was based around the brewing of beer some 5000 to 8000 years ago!
